CHEX Conference Turning Knowledge into Action

Last month CHEX, the Community Health Exchange, held its national conference where attendees focused on turning knowledge and learning into action on the most pressing issues facing our communities.

The conference used a different format than usual - instead of focusing on speakers, the CHEX team hosted keynote listeners who were there to hear our network’s experiences and insights. They worked with us to ensure that the collective knowledge and experience we heard is better understood and fed into work at the national level.

From precarious funding to the impact of burnout, efforts to tackle health inequalities on the ground are facing huge pressures. We heard how it's never been more critical to talk honestly, and collectively, about how we can work better together to address the issues facing our communities.

Building on the conference, this new set of resources brings together the insights and contributions from the day, and will help inform CHEX's work over the coming months.
